Photorealistic renderings enable us to glimpse into the future and market objects attrac- tively even before their completion. Unlike two-dimensional plans, photorealistic visualiza- tions are understood by everyone, and emotions and atmosphere can be realistically con- veyed. The process of creating a photorealistic rendering is straightforward. It starts with the two-dimensional or even 3D design by an architect. Then, additional information such as photographs of furniture, textiles, surfaces, as well as images of the location or land- scape, is incorporated. Even for us, who are confronted with visualizations every day, it is always exciting to see the level of photorealistic quality that is now achievable and the fas- cination that a good visualization can evoke.
