When the connection to nature becomes a brand.

Mindfulness towards the earth, the conscious perception of nature, and the sense for prod- ucts that are beneficial to the body and soul. Under these conditions, the brothers Johann and Ignaz Unterweger founded the first Tyrolean pine oil distillery in Thal, in East Tyrol, in 1886, and brought the Unterweger brand to life. Today, the plants are still harvested by local farmers and processed into essential oils that contain 100% pure and natural ingredients, just as they were back then. This exceptional connection between a brand and nature had to be emphasized in the new corporate identity and the new website. Honest earth tones and shades of green, which can also be found in nature, are chosen for the branding. Fine lines and almost childlike illustrations highlight the attention to detail and the values of the family business. Modern product visualizations and animations create a clear contrast between the brand’s understated and traditional characteristics and the constant pursuit of innovation and progress by the company.
